KochanekSpline
Repository source: KochanekSpline
Description¶
The vtkKochanekSpline provides three parameters to control the shape of the spline:
- tension - Changes the length of the tangent vector
- bias - Primarily changes the direction of the tangent vector
- continuity - Changes the sharpness in change between tangents

KochanekSplineDemo provides sliders to change the three parameters.

Download and Build KochanekSpline¶
Click here to download KochanekSpline and its CMakeLists.txt file. Once the tarball KochanekSpline.tar has been downloaded and extracted,
cd KochanekSpline/build
If VTK is installed:
cmake ..
If VTK is not installed but compiled on your system, you will need to specify the path to your VTK build:
cmake -DVTK_DIR:PATH=/home/me/vtk_build ..
Build the project:
make
and run it:
./KochanekSpline
WINDOWS USERS
Be sure to add the VTK bin directory to your path. This will resolve the VTK dll's at run time.
